How do I apply for a refund?

Are my tickets refundable?
If you would like a refund on your train tickets you will first need to check whether the tickets you’ve purchased are refundable or not. If your tickets are refundable, all cancellations will be subject to a £10 cancellation fee (charged per booking reference NOT per ticket.)

Please note that we are only able to offer refunds on tickets purchased through ourselves that are returned to us wholly unused and within 28 days of the expiry dates of the tickets. We cannot refund tickets that have been used or purchased through a different retailer

What happens next?

When your refund application is logged on our system, you will receive an automated email confirming this and a second automated email when the refund is processed. All refunds will be made back to the card you originally paid with and make  take 2-3 working days to appear back in your account due to the times taken by banks to process transactions.

How long will I have to wait for my refund?

Refunds normally take 28 days to come back to you from the time your refund application is logged on our system. As part of the refunds process all unused tickets have to be sent off to a different company to check that they have not been stamped or passed through the electronic gating system at the station. Until this has happened we are unable to reclaim the money to refund you and hence the reason for the delay between receiving your refund request and refunding the money.
